On July 5, 2008 Leslie had the great honor of sharing the stage with David Ring, a nationally known speaker since 1973, David shares his story with over 100,000 people each year at churches, conventions, schools and corporate events. He has been featured on numerous occasions on several nationally televised programs. Leslie joined him at Valley Baptist Church in Searcy, AR and First Baptist Church in Amite, LA.  The experience was more than words can describe!  David is a true man of God and is blessed with humor that is unmatched.

In 1979, at age four, Leslie was in a fatal car accident.  Her life was changed in that instant! Paralyzed from the waist down with a spinal cord injury, Leslie had to grow up as a child confined to a wheelchair.  Her vocal cords were also damaged with scar tissue diminishing her voice.  Only able to speak in a slight whisper she was forced to look deep within herself to find the strength to become a woman of substance.
