Hi, my name is Kathy ~ I am the person behind Shabby Roses Boutique.  I design and lovingly handcraft all of the original creations that you see on this website.

 

I am a stay-at-home Mum with a great husband of 10 years and two gorgeous children ~ Mitchell 7 and Sarah 4.  We live in the Noosa Hinterland, Queensland, Australia.

 

A bit about me...after I left school I worked in an Accountant's office for a few years, then studied Accountancy at University and went on to become a CPA ~ I worked as a Tax Accountant for many years.  When I took time out to have children I rediscovered my love for sewing and creating things for around the home. And the rest is history!

 

I feel blessed that I can stay at home with my kids while they are young and at the same time be able to do what I love ~ create all kinds of gorgeous handmade items and share them with you.  I really do enjoy it and hope that this shows in my work!
